TrulinX Tidbits
Forecasted monthly demand (FMD)

The quantity of an item that you anticipate will be sold, transferred, or otherwise consumed in the upcoming month. You can choose to calculate forecasted monthly demand using either the exponential smoothing or rolling period average method.

The FMD can be maintained directly in Item Location Maintenance, or it can be recalculated automatically by running the Update FMD Job. This field uses the stocking unit of measure set up in Item Maintenance.
